"The email address is already taken. Please choose another one."

My Xbox account uses a old email from a different domain, I'd like to change the email in the Xbox account to my @outlook email address, but the error always show up "The email address is already taken. Please choose another one." the other email addresses are 100% not connected to an Xbox account. I tried 3 different @outlook emails, all give the same issue.

Hi Mad! I'm more than happy to help you out!

Unfortunately, your Xbox account is permanently attached to your original/old email address. Removing your old email address from your Microsoft Xbox account will result to permanent deletion of your games, saved data and your files from your account.

when my parents added me to their office 365 they used my main email address (gmail)

Is there a way to delete the outlook one linked to my xbox altogether and only have my gmail email on the xbox?
