    I have read an article saying that you have bought bethesda softworks and zenimax.

    If this is true, would it be possible to put the original version of skyrim back on steam? (please do if you can)

    It's their 'baby'.

    That's why they are the publisher on "The Elder Scrolls Online" which is developed not by Zenimax but by Zenimax Online Studios.

    They are both subsidiaries of Zenimax Media.

    Bethesda Softworks are the Publisher of "The Elder Scrolls Online".

    You do not like it when people are uninformed and are fond of Wikipedia as the source of all knowledge.

    Even if Bethesda Softworks had never touched an "Elder Scrolls" game in their entire existence, claiming the game's Publisher has a negligable impact on the final product would be a daft thing to say.

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a really great game. With that said though I think the Bethesda game I have spent the most time with so far is unquestionably The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
