The custom picture is still disabled!

As you've previously been told in other posts, this is temporary, but it will take some time for the feature to be re-enabled. It most likely will not be re-enabled until things start to go back to normal. Please refrain from creating duplicate threads.

Unfortunately, some features such as uploading custom gamer pictures have been disabled due to COVID-19. This is also affecting custom backgrounds and custom club pictures.

As always, you should still be able to do custom pictures via the avatar editor.

To streamline moderation and to ensure everyone has the best experience when using Xbox services, these features have been disabled temporarily for the foreseeable future

if you are trying to change your profile picture to a Custom picture then that feature has been temporary disabled. See more information on the reasoning for the temporary disabling of the Custom picture upload feature here:

Due to COVID-19, some features have been disabled because more people are looking for social connection via gaming and Xbox is seeing record number across all services Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live and Mixer. To streamline moderation and to ensure everyone has
the best experience when using Xbox services, these features have been disabled temporarily for the foreseeable future:

• Custom Gamer Picture
• Custom Club Pictures
• Custom Club Backgrounds

If you try and upload a custom picture you will see the error:

"Sorry, we can't upload your picture right now. Try again in a little while."

You can still create custom gamer pictures with the avatar editor.
