    On September 2nd I got a new Elite Series 2 controller, a week later it got this update and the sticks have been terrible ever since. Most games everything is fine besides them being much more sensitive, which I have seen posted a couple times. Although the two specific issues I'm having I haven't seen mentioned at all. I have reported both as issues on my Xbox.

    While pushing one straight up or straight down sometimes they will register left or right as well. I can see this in the accessories app while moving the joystick around and in a lot of games as well.

    They also sometimes stop registering any input for a moment and then return to where they were, this isn't noticeable in most games but does not work for games that require precise movement and timing. This was first noticed in MLB The Show while using pin point pitching, you have to move the stick in a specific way for each pitch and then pull down at the correct time. Since this update I just randomly have the pitch mess up as if I let go of the stick entirely.



    I have seen the same behavior on two Elite Series 2 controllers, my old one had a different issue with one of the sticks but never did anything like this. The other was brand new as I mentioned and both had these issues the day of the update. I have be tempted to return my new controller, get a replacement and not updating it, but I was hopeful that this would be addressed.

    I also briefly checked a regular Series X controller and didn't notice these issues, but I'm not 100% sure they aren't happening there.

    Is anyone else noticing these issues or is it only me?

    My controller sensitivity is very high on xbox dashboard

    I don't have an elite controller and its not for games it's for the main menu of Xbox.

    Edit: I think I have discovered the issue and its disappointing. It looks like my controller is suffering from 'stick drift' which is upsetting as this controller was a replacement directly from Xbox for a controller that broke under warranty. I've only
    had the controller for about 4 months.

    Why am I now shopping for my 4th Xbox controller

    Im forever getting new controllers. Bumpers just falling out and stick drift after a number of months. Thankfully Game in the UK have £1 insurance and they literally just replace it there and then.

    Also got an Elite and LB broke instantly, the grips on the back fell off after a couple of months. The 2 normal sticks fell apart within a year and I've also started getting very slight stick drift on the left stick (thankfully forward, so not the end of the
    world), Also the rumble things all broke at some point but my main game id turned it off and didn't realise until I played another game and they wouldnt rumble.

    Ive had this controller for 13 months. Id expect more from a £140 product.

    Hey Dice thanks for the recent awesome update but

    I had to get a new controller two months ago. Mine was over 5 years old. I had the rubber coating worn off of both analog sticks. Also the usb cord had to be taped cause it would say disconnected then couldn't do nothing til it was taped. Also the sticks
    would sometimes move on their own or stick at a certain angle. Then when I broke down and bought a new one. lol

    PS3s R2 and L2 buttons are some of the flimsiest things arounds which makes the controller bad from my perspective. I don't hit button hard and I broke one. My man has broken several which is why I brought him a fight stick. Brought another fight stick recently
    because my friend broke the L2 button on my Red one. That was my favorite controller too :(
