    First time I'm hearing of such a situation where the Retailer is refusing to help out by blaming Microsoft on everything.

    Anyways, when you bought the card, wasn't there any code with it? Did you buy it from a retail store?

    I would advise contacting Xbox Support directly here-http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us so you can get it sorted out through verbal communication.

    Yes I bought it at a retail store. And no the cards don’t have a code. The printer is supposed to put one in the receipt but the employee said it was a problem with Microsoft and it’s supplier. In the area where the activaton code should have been were only
    the words ACTIVATION CODE.
