The Best Video Game I've Ever Played

I'd just like everyone to know that Skyrim is
the best video game I've ever played. Here are some of the reasons:



1) Immersion capability like no other game has achieved with the possible exception/runner-up of the Splinter Cell series. Skyrim grabs you and doesn't let go.

2) The incredible depth and breadth of play.

3) Precise, accurate, and vast artwork.

4) Fantastic musical score.

5) Intricacy in all categories.



Skyrim is the Gold Standard of video gaming. The creators of this game should be warned. If the creators attempt to follow this game with another, they must realize they will have to work extremely hard to equal or exceed this game. Failure
is a strong possibility. I recommend taking the time needed to exceed Skyrim in at least all of the categories I mentioned above. To fail would be an insult to the effort that was needed to make Skyrim. Good luck!

Any XBLA or Games On demand Suggestions?

The Walking Dead series from Telltale Games. It'll end up costing you a total of $25 to get all five episodes, but it is definitely worth it. The Walking Dead was by far the best arcade game I've ever played and is one of the best video games I've ever played.

I have to agree. It is even more so in my case since I didn't want to go to Skyrim and really didn't like the whole Civil War story or the Dark Brotherhood and didn't like the way the Thieves Guild was done. In short, even though I did far less of the scripted
stories than in earlier TES games I still got hundreds of hours of enjoyable play over the course of 2 years and really grew as an rpg gamer. The only way Skyrim could have been better was if Morrowind had been done the same way.
