The always online console that caters to only one type of gamer should be user friendly to all.

Personally I shouldn't be forced to be online simply to play a game that has no online features. I'm more a solo rpg player. I've tried a few MMOS. I don't like the toxic communities brought about
by games like destiny ect. It takes the fun right out of the gaming experience. If I purchase a game I should be able to play it how I want example: offline without having to jump through hoops by setting my xbox to home. I can't in my situation. It's not
applicable to me. I also feel we should be able to customize how our dashboard looks like minus all the adds or get rid of programs like mixer and cortana. I've never used them and don't want to. Should be able to delete unnecessary programs. But that's how
I feel.

Update: I game share with my son. That's not theft. So obviously if I'm game sharing with my son I know how to set a home xbox. It's just foolish that there are no other means to play offline if one so
chooses. Because the game rights are not downloaded with the game anymore which forces it to check all the time and I get kicked from games and asked if I own the game. Obviously I do. It's been a problem for 3 years at least. I prefer to save on my console
I hate cloud based everything. I should be able to turn it off or not utilize but again I'm forced regardless of my free will. Xbox support could care less since I've brought this known issue to them multiple times over the last few years and only has gotten
worse. I just want to put in a game and play without all this mumbo jumbo microtransaction garbage and Big Microsoft brother dictating how we are allowed to game. I get for the online community for those who want to be apart of it needs to be monitored but
for those who don't well we have to anyways regardless of any games we play.

User voice is not a user friendly place to post ideas so don't tell me it's a good place to put this idea. Been there, done that, got trolled and harassed. Not again, no thanks.

I didn't think pirated games for consoles was an issue. There is so much anti piracy stuff on things these days it's ridiculous. I don't condone theft.

Things are just out of hand with over protection. But me as a gamer for over 25+ years shouldn't be controlled on how I game. If I want to play a game while not connected to the internet or keep an older
software ware version which also applies to xbox updates we shouldn't be forced to update or not be able to connect until we do update. I understand technology progresses but at what cost to us the gamers? Some of the updates are good but very few of them
in my opinion are. Typically updates are riddled with more problems than they were suppose to fix. Yes that includes system updates. All the advertisements are a joke. If I pay for gold I shouldn't be seeing adds. If I want a game or dlc I will look in the
store on my time.

Apparently this wasn't clear. Yes I know how to appear offline but switching whether or not I appear online is not the issue. I thought that was clear. There are plenty of gamers still who would rather
just get lost in an rpg or even play a shooter by themselves then deal with the drama multiplayer brings. The fact that xbox is only catering to one type of gamer is not only wrong but unacceptable. That being said I'm not saying not to make multiplayer games
or mmos just don't make the console in design exclusive to those types of games/ players only. It's just flat out wrong.

I have to add since someone made the comment that multiplayer online games are in demand yet all the games such as fallout 76, anthem, destiny 1 and 2 elder scrolls online are just horrible greedy cash
grabs designed to steel your money for content that should be in the game. Should say assassins creed odyssey as well since they invented Zeus toybox. All that little over priced content should be included in the game. They are only popular because there are
foolish people who buy the micro transactions. So they get support for literal garbage.
