    That verification method isn't working right now.


    Im absolulty furious and so frustrated with Microsoft , I was logged into the Minecraft launcher yesterday, I logged out and tried to log back in with my email but can't get in. The email that I used for that Minecraft account is very old and is my mother's. I have hours of progress on this Minecraft account on Java and all of a sudden Microsoft has locked me out. Ive tried everything imaginable, contacting support live chat, calling customer care, account recovery form, password reset you name it ive tried it.. but nothing has worked. When I try to reset my password and I select "get a code via phone number" I enter the last 4 digits on my number, press send code and then I'm met with "That verification method isn't working right now, try a different method" I can't even get a code sent to the second email address that's linked to the account because it was hacked years ago and google never let me regain entry to it. What I don't get is just a few weeks ago, I reset the password to that account and got a verification code with my phone number just fine but now all of a sudden it won't work and I've been trying for 2 days straight now. What's even more frustrating is that when I go to log onto my windows computer that just has bedrock on it and not java, ion still signed into my bedrock account that is linked to this Microsoft account that I've been trying to get back into, furthermore Im still logged into the App Store on the account that im trying to get back into, I've tried clicking on manage profile but then it asks me to log in EVEN THOUGH IM ALREADY LOGGED IN. I've just had enough and I've had to re purchase Minecraft twice because of something similar in the past. If anyone has any recommendations before I have to throw another $30 down the drain to buy the game for the second time please do let me know.

    Thanks for your reply, but in true Microsoft style your link doesn't even work.

    So yeah it is frustrating as I've £1000's worth of movies and games linked to that account plus the 25+years I've put in to my Gamer Score!
