Hello James, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Flight Simulator.

In the post it states that there is an issue with systems powering down and there is a workaround for the time being. I will copy and paste it below

AVIONICS

Screens go black when flying: There are multiple root causes being investigated, but one issue is related to battery drain. The starter is always ON even after the engine having been started, continuously draining the battery. After some time, the systems shutdown.

Workarounds:

Flip the ENG switches off prior to starting a flight. This only applies to the piston aircraft (e.g. C172, DA40).

Unbind the "Set Starter" from the ENG 1 switch

Unplug the TCA Airbus Quadrant

Beyond that it may be best to contact the Flight Simulator support team

Hi, I have a problem with my Xbox 360 controller (cabled), it randomly started to have some input problems. All the game i run with my controller detect an input on mt R2, as if I make pressure on it, even if I am not doing anythinng. I don't know how to fix it.

I've found a resolution for my problem. If I plug my controller into my USB switch the controller doesn't disconnect, even though the other inputs do disconnect randomly! When I swap the inputs to my PC everything works perfectly and the Xbox controller continues to work on the Xbox (weirdly).

I do not have the error code, but my console has shutdown randomly today 4 times.

I figured out what the problem was, it was incredibly stupid.

I had a PS4 controller plugged in. I randomly thought "Mm, what if I try unplugging it?" It suddenly worked.
