J'ai un ami qui ne jure que par le texte en parole au jeu Sea of Thieves. J'ai esssayé de l'activé VIA le companion de la console Xbox, mais sans succès. Je vois qu'il est activé, mais lorsque j'écris in-game ni moi, ni les autres gens entendent microsoft Caroline
lire mon message. SVP aidez moi, ma copine est une lève **** et j'aime bien gamer lorsqu'elle dort.

My friend uses Text-to-speech (text in chat read out loud to all other players in the lobby) to communicate in the game. So i tried myself for when my girlfriend is sleeping. I activated it in Xbox companion app. but in does not work. When I am writing
nothing happens, just the usual chat. Microsoft is not reading it out loud. Sorry if my english is bad i tried my best to explain it to you in english.

I've been having the exact same issue. I've gone to some lengths to try and troubleshoot it myself. In addition to this feature not working I also am unable to speak with a working mic in xbox party chat. I suspect these two problems have the same cause.

Here's what I've tried: I went into xbox console companion and enabled text to speech in the game transcription menu. It is there, it is visible, I check it, I restarted everything and my computer, then I go into game and have my friend listen and text
is not transcribed to voice. I have tried unplugging my usb mic, no change. I have tried getting all updates, making sure xbox console companion is updated, making sure xbox game bar is updated. (they already were) I have tried changing my windows privacy
settings. I have made sure all relevant apps have permission using my microphone. I have gone to xbox.com and allowed all relevant social permissions. (they already were) I have reset my time and region settings and resynced the time. I have gone to apps
and features and reset / repaired all relevant apps. I have gone into Services and made sure all relevant support services are running and in their default state (automatic/manual/running). (they already were) All of this to no avail, tested on 3 different
machines all with the same results. (Myself and a couple of friends had a troubleshooting race, we call it PC gaming)
