    Text Messaging via the Xbox App


    Since the new Xbox App has been launched I have been unable to use the on-screen keyboard on my iPad and iPhone for text messaging friends and other players with in-game party text messaging.

    I have the Xbox App on both iPad and iPhone, but neither will work.

    I have deleted and reinstalled the app on both devices multiple times. I have now reset the Xbox One system (saving games and apps) twice, but it still will not work. I can view all of my screenshots and videos through the Xbox App, but for some reason I
    cannot get the text messaging to work from the App to the Xbox.

    It worked perfectly before the new style Xbox App.

    I am hoping someone can help, as Microsoft are not accepting calls or webchat for this topic.

    Hello!

    The two methods Smwutches mentioned both work and are easy (especially the Xbox App). You can configure notifications with windows 10, so any Xbox messages will automatically appear in that little chat icon in the lower right hand corner by the clock.
