Test Multiplayer Connection

So recently my xbox has not been connecting to xbox live, yet my wifi is 100% working. When I tested for multiplayer connection it says, “cant finish multiplayer tests.” Does anyone have any idea of how i can resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Please test the network connection as well as the multiplayer connection and let me know the result.

Settings > General > Network Settings > Test Network Connection > Test Multiplayer Connection.

I have the same problem as Western Spy Guy, I tried disconnecting network and console already several times but still not working, any other tip in how to fix this?

Hi there Western,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand there is an issue with the internet connection on the Xbox console.

To help clarify the issue:

Have you tried an ethernet connection?
Have you powercycled the Network Hardware?

I recommend taking a look at the following troubleshooting article: "My Xbox One is getting randomly
disconnected from Xbox Live".

Try this and let us know the results.

Thank you for reaching out. If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
reset on your console by doing the following:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select System.
Select Console info & updates.
Select Reset console. [Keep my games and Apps]

Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter. Hope this helps!

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
