Test mode on controllers has error

I have 3 Xbox controllers and each are behaving the exact same way. (All still under warranty - as info)

When I go into test mode, even if if the controller is sitting beside me on the chair, it is saying that the right joystick is pointing up.

Each one (controller, and attempts) tested has resulted in exactly the same.

It does seem strange. I presume there are no software updates awaiting the controllers?

Thank you for replying. After I had posted this question, I searched a bit more, and found that others had had the exact same issue. Specifically with the right joystick going up.

I too thought it might have been stick drift, but all 3 controllers at the same time.....

Sorry to hear you are having this issue. Sounds like you may have stick drift. If you have already reset the controller and cleaned them, one thing that might help is a product called WD40 Contact Cleaner. I know this has been used to resolve stick drift in Switch JoyCons.

If all of that fails, sounds like you will need to trigger the warranty.

No, if you tested on another console and the error persisted, then it's really something with the controller.

Try updating both controls.

If the error still persists, return the controls to the seller for them to test the control.

So it's probably a controller error.
