Terrible lag on FIFA 17

Ever since I bought FIFA 17 I've been getting terrible lag when playing online. At the outset I should say that I'm using a cable and not playing wireless. Also, my NAT Type is always open. My download speed is usually around 5.70, sometimes as high as 6.
Packet loss fluctuates from 0 up to 9 and the ping can fluctuate from 200 up to even 1250. I'm on IPV4 and have been online to see how to get onto IPV6, however when I went into my PC settings the IPV6 box was already checked, despite my console reporting
that I am on IPV4. The problem isn't just with FIFA . The only other game I play online if Full House Poker on my 360 and when I'm on the screen where you can select whose game to join the connection strength by the side of their names is often one red bar. Finally,
my ISP sent me a new router the other day and still the problem persists. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Here is a list of things that have been tried, none of which have solved the problem

1. Clearing persistent storage

2. Selecting Alternative MAC address

3. Port Forwarding, using the codes issued by both EA and Microsoft

4. Unplugging all cables, then connecting them after 5 mins

5. Disabling the firewall in my router settings

6. Enabling DMZ from my router settings

Experiencing major lag and high latency with xbox one and fifa 17.

So I am unable to play fifa 17 online due to lag problems.I have tried most of the stuff out there.

 

What just happened.......

That happens almost every game with me (start terrible 0-17 and finish great 17-1 but end 17-18). I think the host "changes" mid game (no migrations) or maybe its the lag comp thingy working (with some sniper frog).

Thanks for posting up what you've tried! This may be an issue that you will need to work with your ISP on. If packet loss ever breaks 0%, even if it's just 1%, that would indicate that there's an issue sending packets of data between your network set up
at home and your ISP. If you are seeing upwards of 9% packet loss, that can definitely explain some of the behavior being reported. Additionally, if your ping is fluctuating that much, reaching out to your ISP will be the best course to take.

I like to use pizza as an example for this scenario (plus I really just love pizza). Let's say ISP = pizza shop, and packets = the toppings on the pizza you ordered. Packet loss is similar to if the pizza man dropped a 9% of the topping you ordered on his
way to your door. You still have a pizza to eat, but it's not quite the pizza you were expecting. Obviously, it's way more complicated than that, but hopefully that paints a decent enough picture about what may be at play here.
