    I had to return my son's Elite 2 controller under warranty, because of a known problem with the sticks.

    I returned it to Microsoft UK in Northampton who turned it around very quickly and it was 'despatched' on 7th Jan 2021, on a 6-8 day delivery by UPS.

    For the record, Northampton to my house (SW Scotland) is 355miles by road.

    According to the tracking, my parcel did a small tour of the UK between the 7th and 15th Jan going North as far as Cumbernauld in Glasgow, then back south to Preston before heading to Dublin in Ireland! At a rough check it travelled over 1000 miles without
    actually getting to me!

    I eventually got a hold of a UPS call handler who asked me to confirm my address, which I did. She then said "I've changed the delivery address, your parcel will arrive soon". Question is, why was the delivery address wrong that Microsoft put on the parcel?
    SO I checked my account, and discovered that the default address had the second and third letter of my street name reversed - probably my fault, but as every other thing was correct, including the Post/Zip Code there's no way that should have caused non delivery!

    Anyhoo, after the address was changed, delivery was shown for yesterday 20th Jan by 2.45pm - you've guessed it, Nada. So I emailed UPS yesterday at 5pm and again this morning. There has been no update to the tracking and total silence from UPS.

    So I went in to my account again and checked something else - my past orders.

    Guess what? The address Microsoft used was fine - they just accidently put another City on it. A city which is in Scotland, but hundreds of miles from here. Since the Post/Zip code was right, I STILL don't know why the delivery
    went wrong. The controller is probably now bashed all to heck, after weeks in Transit, in the back of a van.

    My son has had no controller now for 21 days, because of faulty manufacture. I think Microsoft should send another one, what's the best way to contact them please?

    Hello, sorry for this experience. I can tell you that MS will not send out another controller. I would contact UPS as they were the last ones with it and stated that it was delivered. Contact them and find out what happened with it. In the future I would
    make sure all mailing address and contact info on the account it is correct. Xbox/MS is juts going to pull the info that you have on your account that was inserted. So if letter were flipped it will be printed that same exact way.

    Terrible isn't it. Oh well, I tried my hardest for a month and in the end I'd given up hope, paid them their £300 and it's been shipped off now.

    I can imagine something stupid will happen during delivery and it'll be lost or broken, and I'll have to pay again or buy a completely new console from my experience of how they've handled this.

    Just feel like if I'd managed to have spoken to a real person I could've had this resolved without the cost but nothing I can do now!
