    Terrible customer service. Need help contacting someone to get stuff done.


    I somehow ended up with two gamertags, separate accounts but with one email. That shouldn't be possible and I have no idea how it happened. What it means is that now I cannot log into my original one and instead can only log into the new one.

    I contacted Xbox support about this and they were pretty surprised about it. They forwarded it to their "investigation department".

    That's where it has been for over a month. I contact tech support, give them my service request number, they look it up and tell me "the team is working on it." Then nothing. Supposedly the team is "verifying account information" which I think is unlikely
    since both accounts have my info and they have never contacted me.

    Tech support is not able to give me contact info for this make-believe "investigation department" and in fact can not even contact them to ask about my case for me. So nothing is getting done and noone can tell me why.

    Does anyone have a better contact for tech support? a manager to complain to? know a guy in this "investigation department?" Any help would be appreciated.

    Also, spoke to someone from xbox chat who left the conversation before anything was resolved. Terrible customer service.

    Hi thank you for your reply! I have requested a call from the Microsoft team, unfortunately that’s not the department that I need to speak to about this issue. I need to speak to someone from the Microsoft online safety team. I cannot find any way to get in touch with them and they are not reaching out to me about this issue. I feel lost and frustrated spinning my wheels to get this issue resolved.

    Is there a contact person anywhere that can help customers who have a disabled Microsoft account?!

    I am so terribly disappointed with the customer service that Microsoft is providing.

    yeah its fine if customer service cant help with those.... but the problem is theres literally no other people that the customer can get in contact with who can. its kind of a joke, no? anyways im done now, you dont need to reply to this but i thank you for your previous ones. its clear to me now that "customer service" is designed to actually keep the customer from service.
