    Tbh I have never heard of that, if it's the future though then I'm sure ms have looked at it and are working on it and seeing if it can improve things across the board not just on xbox.

    I could be wrong but its unlikely a tech giant such as ms would not be getting involved

    All current consumer computer based systems be they a PC, phone, tablet or a game console use binary, it's been that way since the birth of the industry.

    To use a ternary system, the machine itself has to be designed for it. You can't just change from Binary to Ternary. It's not as simple as that.
