Temporarily suspend XBox service on a daily basis

I have kids who simply play games via the Xbox too much. I don't want to entirely cancel the subscription, but i need a way to temporarily suspend the service on a daily basis, let's say based on the hours played. Is this possible? If not - I'll cancel
the service so they can spend time on homework.

I can relate to wanting to do this.

There's the 'Microsoft Family' app that's available on

Android or
IOS.

You can find all the details here and once you're signed in, you can manage the time limits for all of the people in your family.

It let's you set time limits in a few ways, either by setting a time window for each day of the week or by letting you select a certain amount of time per day they can use.

If they want more time, they can ask via their console and you'll be able to reject or approve it via the app.

No one will open a post saying they were banned because they were doing something wrong. But I, who deal with this on a daily basis, know how many people are suspended and have banned consoles.
