    Tell me it isn't so, but I think I lost game saves by joining the Delta Ring


    So, I finally got to delta ring. I go through the setup and installation process and go to fire up Forza Horizon 4. But it doesn't load my save. So, I sync up to the online save. But it's got me starting the tutorial again. I don't have any of my cars, stats, nothing. Just as another note, I share Gold and Game Pass with a roommate, setting my Xbox as his home. I haven't reloaded his profile and set that up again. So, did I lose my 4 year old and nearly 100% complete save? Please tell me no. Because I'll cry

    Xbox insider beta ring

    To join just download the insider's app on your Xbox open it go to settings and join whichever ring you are able to. You may not be able to join beta ring until you have been a member for something like three months so you may have to join delta temporarily.

    I am currently trying Delta ring. I will report here if it helps with crashing in late game.

    UPDATE:

    I was able to finish the game that was constantly crashing after updating to Delta ring release Xbox Insider Release Notes - Delta (2208.220715-2200) - Xbox Wire

    If Omega ring has same fixes, then hopefully everyone will get this fix soon.

    I will continue testing with Delta ring with all addons enabled (currently have extra civs disabled) with new game on huge map.

    No I don't think it actually takes that long. In fact I read through all the insider patch noted this week so far and all rings had an update that fixed an unexpected crash issue in an unspecified game. I want to believe they have the fix out to all rings. I could probably test Omega and Delta rings, but it would be great to get a second person to provide confirmation.

    Thats nice to hear. Maybe I should jump back on the Delta ring. Have been an insider for years now. but haven't been been active since summer. Will report back if i decide to go off the official release version
    Yes, if you do I'd like to know what you find. I joined yesterday, then realized I can't bump up to Delta unless I've been active for 2 months. Bummer.
