Technical obstacles removing wifi card from XBOX One

Hi.

Since I got about the same response here (followed by an immediately locked thread) as from the phone and chat support, let's try another approach and hope someone tech savvy will reply and not do a "post and run" and locking the thred just fishing for their
post count. If you don't have the competence to answer, maybe someone else will and
locking the thread is not helpful in that case.

I've been asked, from a customer, about removal of the wifi card from a couple of XBOX One consoles. Please read the following before replying:

• All parties know that any warranty or service agreement is void after this, thus Microsoft will not repair the console after it has been modified. This is not an issue for anyone involved.
  This is a "if it breaks, you have to get a new one" kind of deal.
• The department asking about this HAS to have it completely removed for legal reasons, otherwise they can't allow them.
• SHOULD (not will/can) there be any technical difficulties using the wireless controllers if we leave the RF module where it's supposed to be?
• Yet again, warranty will be void, we know, and no service/repair from Microsoft/partners, we know.
• One more time. Is there any reason why this should affect the wireless controllers,
  other than simply bad luck/incorrect disassembly? We know that tampering with the device is a risk, and the customer is more than willing to take this risk as long as it _SHOULD_ work. If it doesn't with half of the consoles, then they accept
  that outcome.

Please, please, no more "You're warranty will be void", "You won't get any surface", "There are always risks with tampering" or "You can do this instead".

We have done this with lots of 365's and they work perfectly afterwards, except for just lacking wifi capability, and we simply want to know if this can be expected as an outcome from the procedure.

"This might happen" or "I don't know, but..." is not really a useful answer. If someone feels the urge to recommend the support (who pointed me here by the way, due to them not feeling they had the technical expertise) then please attach contact information
since the regular support doesn't know this.

Trying before asking is not an option neither, since the consoles are not purchased yet.
