team mates voice chat disabled

Playing war zone dmz on xbox series x, there are crosses next to my team mates speaker icons. I can't hear them. I've checked settings and voice chat enabled. It's just suddenly happened. Reboot doesn't fix. Same every game now. Headset works, mike test works. What could be causing this?

I don't know.for shore so u may need to do some more research bit that sounds to me like your.mates audio has been blocked by Microsoft maybe for being rude or not following voicechat guidelines hopefully not the case but that's all I can think of

Haven't had chat issues if they use their mics. You are running into goofballs using the kinect for voice or not disabling voice chat for kinect in settings.

I know voice chat is disabled in game, but I have yet to hear if party chat is going to be disabled. really want to talk with friends on other games

I can certainly understand where you're coming from here. I suggest making this post over in our
Feedback Forums so that the feedback team can see it and take it into account.

While you're waiting on the feedback team to take a look, I suggest looking through the options in whatever game you're playing to see if there's an option to disable your voice chat in that game. That way, when you're on Skype with someone
you can disable in-game voice chat and not run into that issue. =)
