    Is it true? There is no team chat over mic on the new Battlefield 1, a game based on warfare, and Communications being a key element in warfare. Can't believe they would of missed that out in the game research.

    Team chat vs. squad chat.

    There is no way. You have to listen to the kids talking about there day just like the rest of us

    I have never heard anyone talking in multiplayer.

    Although BF1 has audio settings implying there is team chat.

    In-game chat in Battlefield games is limited to the squad you are currently in (also know as squad chat). If you would like to communicate with more players from your team, you can start an Xbox Live Party and invite players you would like to chat with.

    the Battlefield franchise has never had full team chat. You are able to talk to your squad (max 5 players). but why would you want to talk to the whole team? it would mainly be a bunch of kids screaming in the mic and the adults would be in parties like
    we do now anyway.
