TDU2 xbox freeze.

I just bought test drive unlimited 2 for $20. Waited all day for it to download just to find out it doesn't work. i have tried redownloading, clearing cache, taking out hdd also switched out my hdmi to make sure it wasnt that. I've tried playing while signed
out and signed in both did not work. I have seen lots of people with the same problem but nobody seems to have an answer. You name it and i've tried it, im just here looking for the solution that works.

also this is an on demand game downloaded onto a 32gb usb, I do not have this problem with other on demand games as i played skate 2 and skyrim off the same usb. The whole xbox 360 (new 'e' model) freezes as soon as i press start game. I'm at the point of
giving up.. somebody save me from wasting my money. Thanks.

Try clearing the system cache and try running TDU2 again. If it freezes again, try deleting the game and re-downloading it from the XBL marketplace.

aileronroll raises a good question. Do other games freeze your console as well? Or is it only TDU2? If you haven't tried another game since this issue arose, go ahead and try launching another game (preferably a games on demand game, if you have another one
already) and see if the console freezes. If it doesn't, then we'll know that the problem is specifically with TDU2.

If the problem is specific to TDU2 then I would think there was probably just some error when it was downloading the game. Maybe the internet dropped out for a second, or all sorts of things could have messed it up. Fortunately, we should be able to fix it.

I would suggest:

-Go into your hard drive (system hub of your dashboard, settings, storage) and delete TDU2 from your hard drive.

-Clear your system cache (use this link
http://support.xbox.com/xbox-360/settings-and-initial-setup/clear-system-cache).

-Restart your console.

-Go into your download history and redownload TDU2 (use this guide:
http://support.xbox.com/xbox-live/marketplace-and-purchasing/download-content-history#2da0afa4950c4847ace4f404f0c83e74).

-Try launching TDU2 and see what happens.

If you have done all the troubleshooting in that thread, I suggest contacting support via our
Contact Us page for a refund. They may have you do more troubleshooting before hand, but if it doesn't work at the end, they should get you a refund for the game that you cannot use.

Please do post back if you're able to get it working before it comes to contacting support!
