Taptiles problems - we need your help!

Every time I try to load my taptiles it closes it and doesn't load. I have a windows 8, hp computer.

 

Running Windows 8.1 in a Laptop HP Envy TouchSmart.

HP-TS17-i7-4700MQ-16GBram-win8.1pro with media centre-graph1 Intel HD4600-grap2 GForce GT 47m. Taptiles loads purple screen for about 1 second then goes to icon on taskbar. diagnostics suggested corrupted windows store and possible graphic driver problems.
Drivers are up to date, with auto-switching between graph1 and graph2 depending on GPU load. Did all the reset/reinstall to latest update with the result that opening splash screen now closes to taskbar much faster, but game does not load.

 

1. I am running on Windows 8.1 on an HP Pavillion Touchsmart 14 Sleekbook. All updates have been installed.

2. When I launch Taptiles, the purple screen appears briefly then defaults to the desktop or the browser, if open. This is all that happens regardless of the number of times I try to open taptiles.

4. This has been occurring for over a year. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling still to no avail. Really miss taptiles.

 

Looks like it''s been over a year and no one has replied back....

Anyway I have a HP touch screen, same problem as numerous people before me have complained. Briefly launches then vanishes. The icon stays stuck on the lower bar.

Windows 8.1 HP Laptop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this game over 10 times and the same thing keeps happening!!!! When I try to load the game, the window opens but crashes immediately. The game will not display.

 

I can't believe this still hasn't been fixed. I posted information about my computer several months ago and finally came to the conclusion I'd never be able to play this game again since no one seems to want to help any of us. I just upgraded my computer
to Windows 10 and thought perhaps that would fix the problem but unfortunately it didn't. I still can't open the game and have it stay open long enough to play it. It still keeps minimizing itself. The game was so much fun to play so it's such a disappointment
that I haven't been able to play it in probably close to a year if not longer.

 

I wish somebody had answered me. It is very annoying that there is nobody to actually talk to.

I uninstalled Taptiles but then could not get a link in the Windows store to reinstall. I then found the whole store thing was having a very funny turn and that other apps I had downloaded were not working. So I thought I must try to help myself. I searched
the net saying my windows store does not work can I reinstall it. Finally I found a link to microsoft which told me how to reset the Windows Store. I did this and I don't know if it was just chance but everything including Taptiles now works. Silly me I did
not keep the link. so my guess is you should ask the net the question how do I reset my windows store And select the answer that is from microsoft. It may have been coincidence or it may work. You will not know until you try.

I brought my computer to the Microsoft store to see if they could make Taptiles work. The man reset my apps, did some repair on all apps and figured Taptiles would now work. He was stumped when he realized nothing he did fixed the problem. Maybe one of
these days someone from xbox will release a new update that fixes the app. I really enjoyed playing it.

 

I am running windows 10pro 64bit on an HP Envy TS17 notebook - Taptiles briefly shows purple splash screen then disappears. Used to run on windows 8.1 until a bracket of updates broke it. No error codes - no access to program files to try compatibility
mode either.

 

Is anyone from Taptiles ever going to help us? So frustrating.

 

I like all of you was very frustrated and spent from May until late August last year trying to fix this. There was a post early on that I did not understand but had bookmarked and a wonderful tech that really wanted to help me read it and knew immediately
what the problem was... Unfortunately, he read it after we had done a complete reset or restore whatever it was. So many hours of reinstallations and I have been good without further issues. I am again attaching the steps he used. He uninstalled then followed
the steps so that the program was fully removed from the hidden files then when the store reinstalled it reinstalled the corrected version without the error so the updates that kept coming in were not to the old files. PS. Since this was sent to me I could
not change the steps so not there is a 4.5 at the bottom of the list.

1. go to C: programs files

2. Then click on the view options

3. Click on show hidden file

4. then look for windows app

5. Delete the app data from the windows app folder.

6. Check to make sure the app has been removed from the app screen.

7. Reboot the system.

8. Re-install the app.

step 4.5 check the permissions if they are not assign to you change that .

There is an error in the game Taptiles for wimdows 10. In the challenges, I finished the games and I would be entitled to currencies which does not happen. thank rectification
