Tabs Missing on Xbox 360 Dashboard After Signing into Xbox Live

When disconnected from Xbox Live my Xbox 360 dashboard is fine with each of the tabs present, (Bing, home, social, games, movies and TV, apps, settings.) After logging into Xbox Live however, the tabs always change (Home, social, games
and apps, settings) so there's no Bing search, no apps and no movies and TV. This became a bit frustrating since the 'new' games and apps tab only has the option to search or find games so no apps can be added. I can browse and search apps available for download/purchase
but whenever it's time to download you need to sign into Xbox Live which after signing in returns me to the homepage with the no apps tab again.

I noticed multiple threads in the past but none had a solution that worked. The methods tried were Restarting the console, Testing Xbox Live Connection, Logging out then back into account, reinstalling the latest system update, switching to
another profile, matching account region to physical region, deleting profiles from console and clearing system cache before downloading profiles again. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    :)

    No tabs in dashboard

I just recently bought a 360, and after updating the dashboard and creating an xbox live account, i noticed that some tabs like bing are missing whenever i login using my xbox live profile. as a result i haven't been able to find the marketplace or download
    any apps/games/etc.

    any ideas anyone?

    Sign in to Xbox LIVE

Go to the settings tab on your Xbox 360 dashboard and select Account.

    Select Download History.

Browse your download history and find Deadpool.

Select the it, and then select Download Again.

    Liking the new friends section

Just finished downloading it, it's Thursday 10:05 pm for me.

What happened to avatars though? I like how they added a Friends tap to the Dashboard. It's kind of like the SOCIAL tab on Xbox 360's Dashboard but of course, it's missing avatars and that Windows 8 style UI really sticks out. If you want to see you and
your friends avatars you have to go to the Avatar App on the Dashboard. But it's good they added another tab.

    OS version

    6.2.11653.0 (xb_rel_1410.141009-1648) fre

Now all I'm waiting for is Voice Messaging "Xbox Live Feature" and Change the Dash Background "Xbox Live Feature.

XBOX 360 - Dashboard changed, Tabs missing

    Hello, AndreasBenakis.

This issue might be occurring because of your internet connection. Try resetting your router or modem and see if that brings the tabs back.

    BF4 Beta?

For xbox 360 users in the United States/wherever, sign out of your xbox live account, switch your settings on your xbox locale to United Kingdom, then go to the game tab and you will see battlefield 4 exclusive beta in the bottom left corner. Click on that
tab. Then sign back into your xbox live account. After you sign in it will be on the same page, go to the exclusive beta bf4 and download.

    Worked for me :)
