    Tablet for Microsoft Xbox movies?


    We have been collecting movies for our family on Xbox Live movies and tv and we want to go mobile. We're in Canada so "Movies Anywhere" isn't an option. I've heard mixed answers about tablets. Can the surface tablet access, view, and download for offline
    use the movies we have purchased on our Xbox?

    In addition to what Andre has posted, you'll need to make sure you sign into the Movies & TV app with the same account you used to purchase the content on your Xbox. The app will populate with all your purchases and you'll be able to stream/download them
    to your Surface.

    On a Windows 10 PC you can use the Movies and TV app to download them for offline viewing. So, if you are running windows 10 on your Tablet, you should be able to download it.

    Yes you can watch movies offline if you download on a surface tablet.

    Yes, i have a Gen1 surface Pro, i have downloaded movies purchased on Xbox to watch on the go for my daughter. The option to expand the memory capacity is amazing as well with a Micro SD card.

    This is great news! I was discouraged because some Reddit users insisted i could only access them on Xbox. Just to clarify, i can go to the movies i bought on my Xbox via films and TV and access them on my surface and even download them for offline viewing
