t mobile home internet

I did not get this resolved. Neither the Left or the right hand seem to know how to fix the issue with the T-Mobile home internet.

Not totally unrelated, for Hulu to work with T-Mobile home internet. Hulu has to provide you with a specific IP address.

The odd thing is. If I use my phone Hotspot (Almost exactly the same at T-Mobile home internet which is basically a Hotspot) the 360 hooks right up. With NONE of the Port mumbo-jumbo mentioned above.

So I have the xbox 360. i just got my new internet service with t mobile home internet. In case you aren't familiar with that. it is basically home internet over the 5g network. and broadcast 2.4 and 5g.

All my other devices connect great. but the 360 has problems..

The 360 will connect to the t mobile router but not from the router to the internet. I do not get an error, but on the Test Connection it shows xbox live failed, internet blocked.

I called the tech at t mobile, he said the xbox 360 needed a code or something because it has problems with with IP address porting or something and the code or IP address Xbox could give me would allow me to connect.

I set up a 2.4 connection just for the xbox and the WEP2..

So I don't know how else to get the 360 on line.

The link has all details for possible connection issue in an Xbox 360 console. If the error you are encountering is about NAT Type, you may follow the steps on this link instead https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/Hardware-Ne... it includes the port needed for Xbox to connect on Xbox live service.

Any new updates on this post? Having the exact same issue. Works on a hotspot but not with tmobile home internet (wired or wireless). Spent an hour on the phone with tmobile tech support and it was a waste of time.

did you ever get problem solved?

Im not the original poster who had the issue but unfortunately i doubt they got it fixed because of the above reasons i mentioned.
