    Not even after a year and a half i have to buy or send my xbox one in for repair through no fault of my own. System update left it with error codes 101 and 102 and i have to pay for it. As a veteran with PTSD gaming is my relief.

    Sorry to hear this has happened to you, have you tried factory reseting your consoke back to before the xbox update was installed on to it?

    I have done all the troubletroubleshooting it has asked me to do. All it does is saying preparing console and something went wrong. Microsoft says it needs to be sent in for repair. And unfortunately after only a year and a half just don't fly with
    me. Warranty only last a year.

    are you enrolled in xbox insider ?, read the terms and conditions since microsoft is not responsible for damage to the console is your responsibility

    Try this...

    press the Xbox button  to
    open the guide, and then select (by pressing RB to tab to the right)Settings > General > Personalization (should
    be top right selection)

    Can you find it now?
