System update or game update for MechAssault (1) XBox game?

Can anyone tell me where I can find the game update my XBox 360 E console is telling me should be availiable to allow me to play the original XBox (1) game: MechAssault on my 360? I have been able to play many games from the original console that are not
on the list that they have on the site and I am really into the mech type games so I would really like to play the first MechAssault game. Since the second game, MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf is on the list I am hoping there is an update for the first game.

Mechassault

Hello "That 1 Dude"

Mechassault 2 Lone Wolf is an amazing game

I think Mechassault 3 & 4 went to the PC (sorry, I'm not really sure about this) and based on what I know, we're currently only Mechassault 5 if one ever gets made for the Xbox One.

Only MechAssault 2 is backwards compatible.

The first Mechassault game is not backwards compatible on the 360 and won't be updated to work with the console. The second game, Mechassault II: Lone Wolf, is backwards compatible as long as your 360 has an official Microsoft hard drive in the console.
Third party, knock-off, or counterfeit hard drives will not work as they do not have the necessary emulation software on the drive.

the closest console game to a TRUE mechwarrior game would have to be Chromehounds ....the original Xbox had Mechassault 1&2 but despite the mechs looking like their mechwarrior inspired counterparts ....mechassault 1 and 2 were just third person brawlers
....and if all 12 titanfall players are in mechs, then I suspect something more that that than Chromehounds

Mechassault 2 was a fantastic game, pretty awesome online for team work. VTOL for Supplies and Mech rescues.
