    System Update issues


    Bought newly refurbished xbox 360 E and a 250gb HD. Cant get connected to live because of new system update not fully installing due to error. System wont let me download profile from account. Pretty much cant fo anything. Tried everything suggested from
    adding flash drive and even update downloaded to disc. Still wont take update. Help?!?!

    Hey Guys

    I just got my Xbox One and at the first update it continues to get stuck at 74% for hours on end. I've tried restarting the xbox but it doesn't seem to be helping at all. I tried to download the offline system update but when downloading it from my computer
    directly it says the file is invalid (I was downloading option 1) and on winrar it says the file download ended unexpectedly. I'm kind of stuck here with a problem that can't be fixed because the way to fix it has a problem.

    Did you try a soft reset? (press power button for 5-10 seconds), if that don't work i would try a factory restore (hard reset) found under settings.

    No, that I could do. And at this point would be less of a headache. I tried going to chat to talk to someone but I cant enter in my name (the boxes are greyed out) so it wont connect me

    I would suggest trying it wired to your router. See if that makes a difference. Good Luck!

    Do not mean to piggyback this but I am having this issue too. Out of box, the update will complete to about 8 or 9% then errors out with no code. It just says it cannot be completed and gives me the option to turn off the xbox or to retry. If I retry, then
    it will start from 0% and do it all over again. My internet connection is fine (routed wirelessly). I also tried power cycling the system and it did not work.
