System update freeze

My Xbox 1 - S , has frozen on a system update , it keeps taking me back to system error .

I try to select delete everything and still goes back to being frozen on page 3 of 3 at 71% of a system update .

I have downloaded the offline system update but when I have inserted the usb drive it still doesn't highlight to allow me to perform the offline update ....

Any help or suggestions appreciated

May I know if the USB drive you’re connecting to your console was formatted with the NTFS file system, as stated in the offline update support article?

If affirmative, try to perform a physical power cycle by disconnecting the power cable before trying the offline update again:

“Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important, Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.
Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.”

Hello, Adrian.
If the files and the USB drive file system are the correct, you should be able to highlight and select the offline update option.

Try downloading the files one more time from your computer, and reformat your USB. In case you have another USB drive, try with that instead.

However, if your drive isn’t recognized after these procedures. Try connecting it to a different port in your Xbox.
