Hello I have problem with my xbox 360

it´s same problem as this and I don´t know what to do

  A friend's son's Xbox 360 was disconnected from the internet for about 6 months, and recently it was connected back to online with a wireless adapter (360 is one of the original Pro consoles without wireless built in). An attempt was made to download the
  latest dashboard update to the 360, but every time it has been turned on since attempting to update the system the same process & error message repeats.
  
  It will boot and go to a screen indicating it is attempting to download/install the update but it immediately fails to the "397F-4099-2800-0F00-C000-0034" error screen.
  
  I have tried disconnecting & reconnecting the wireless device, did nothing. I have written the update to a CD and booted the xbox with it in the drive, same error. I tried booting the system with the update on a USB, again no effect and same error message.
  The xbox does not appear to recognise the USB or CD, it doesn't seem like it's even trying to install from these sources. Is there any way I can complete the update? Why is the xbox failing to update from any source? Any help would be massively appreciated

  I am sorry about the error you are getting. I will try my best to help you out there. So I see you are getting the error "397F-4099-2800-0F00-C000-0034". This error is a known issue when it comes to updating. You can check out this post that can possibly

  If this does not work, I suggest calling 1-800-4-my-xbox (1-800-469-9269). If they can not help you, then they'll ask you to send in your console and if it's under warranty, you can get a replacement plus Gold Membership for your time. I hope this issue

I turn on console and goes directly to system update stopped. The status codes are 397F-2800-0F00-C000-0034
