System failure and control

It may be a failure in the mechanical control system attributed to its cleanliness. There may also be a failure from falling blows.

Well only turned the Xbox on got past the green screen come up saying system failure

PLEASE HELP this has been going on for the last 2 weeks.

Good Morning caeleb,

I would try the following steps to see if they resolve the issue.

1. Make sure the Console is turned off
2. Unplug the Console from the wall
3. Unplug and reconnect all the cabling

1. If you have any A/V equipment or your STB connected you will want to keep them unplugged for now

• After the console has been unplugged for 2 minutes, plug the console back in and reboot the system

At this point, if the Console is still doing the same thing I would try the next steps.

• Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool

• In Step 2 you will download the OSUDT1 file

If these steps do not resolve the issue, I would recommend calling Xbox Support at 1.800.469.9269 or request a callback
here. This may most likely require a repair to be started of it is still happening.

We can't help you unless you tell us a little more about your situation. What happened and what did it say on the screen?
