I am receiving the same error code while a system update was being applied. Is there a fix for this or is it hardware related?

This is fast becoming a regular occurrence

It all very well these MS employees apologising.... But the fact is these consoles are getting bricked by system updates, should be a free fix for everyone (in or out of warranty)

Unfortunately if you are getting the error I was experiencing, then you will have no choice but to send the console for a replacement. For your network adapter problem, are you using your wireless adapter or your console's wired LAN card? If your are using
your console's WAN card, then plug up a RJ-45 CAT 5e cable and confirm if you get network connectivity. One thing you can do is set it back to defaults and try again. It could be that the firmware and driver of the WAN card did not applied correctly. I do
not believe you can restore to the old OS after the update to v10. I would recommend to chat with the support techs at MS so they can further guide you.
