Syncing and Save Loading Issue: Subnautica

Hello! I have two problems that I'd love any input from: #1 Game Not Saving Bug, #2 Xbox Cloud Not Syncing.

#1 Game Not Saving Bug: I've been addicted to Subnautica on my PC lately, as it's free via gamepass. I've been playing very frequently and have over a day of play time in the game. Randomly, although I saved and the save indicator was gone, I could no longer quit the game from my latest save point. (i.e. I would hit save, wait for the save indicator to go away, then select "quit" in the pause menu. The quit message would say, "Are you sure you want to quit? You haven't saved in the past 2 hours!") I've lost over 5 hours worth of progress to this bug sadly.

#2 Xbox Cloud Not Syncing: While trying to figure out how to "fix" the previous bug, I was browsing forums and subreddits. I found the most common solution to fix the save bug is to uninstall, then reinstall the game. After doing so, the Xbox Cloud fails to sync properly and I can't play my previous save as it hasn't been uploaded to my computer. The message displayed is "We can't sync your data with the cloud right now" I've installed it on my Xbox S and the problem is there too. I have a full connection to the internet, and to make sure I wasn't going crazy I downloaded Subnautica Below Zero, and the game was able to sync and play normally with no problems. My game is vanilla, and contains no external mods.

Any help would be great, but I truly believe this is a problem on Xbox's end, and not my own.

I'm trying to play Subnautica over the cloud on my Xbox One because my original Xbox has performance issues and I'm having the cloud save sync issue.

My console did the same thing today, no network issues running fastest fibre a home can have. game can't start because it wants to sync data however when at 100% it just does the same thing over and over.

The game is only being played on console not crossplay so I would love to know the answer from microsoft. Why is the game they provide broken ?

Why am I paying for two ultimate passes if this game that is on the pass just brakes

I'm having the same exact issue however only on Xbox cloud gaming through gamepass. I do not have the game installed and it's not my system that it's running on. When I download and install the game it runs fine however I have an original Xbox one so I have 30 seconds of pop in for resources whenever I look at them. The cloud Play is faster for Subnautica below zero then it is on my hardware I figured it would be the same for the original.

I haven't been able to play.

I have the same problem, and subnautica supports cloud save.

I can use my save game from xbox to pc, bit i cant upload my save game from pc to xbox and continue my game there.

Unfortunately this solution only works for the few that have bad overall internet connection for the rest of us with fiber internet and new Xboxes I'm sure it's just subnautica being broken as the guy said below zero syncs just fine subnautica does not I wish they would have just left Cloud out of the equation or at least given us the option to play and load saved off my hard drive
