    Hi,

    So I've got a problem. My game account will not sync to Forza Horizon 4 or the Forza Hub with my games profile.

    It will work with my normal account and it's working perfectly well with that one.

    It's only been a problem since I installed a new motherboard and tried to activate my Win 10 Pro license (which is all legitimate) and it wouldn't let me.

    I phoned Microsoft support, they told me that the license I'd been using for 2 years with no problems at all (I'd had hardware changes during that time too) was a code for Win 7.

    The code I'd bought from an authorised reseller no longer worked, even the original disc from 2015/16 was also wrong. (Got that in front of me right now, all the barcodes, the stickers etc). Eventually got the serial number to work. Activated, same account
    that it was used with when I bought it.

    All the problems started after this farce. I logged into FH4 after I did the clean install, it worked fine at the time. Problems started with Teredo, did some Microsoft support troubleshooting, ended up doing a Windows reset. That didn't solve it, turns
    out the problem there was a router reset. So far so good. Logged in FH4 after another reinstall of the game. I see this message 'Your other device is taking a long time to sync to the cloud.' I don't have another device.

    So I'm stuck. I don't want to lose about 200+ hours on Forza.

    Apologies for the essay, I thought it best if whoever may be able to help knows exactly what's happened.

    My Xbox Series controller I got as a replacement about 4-5 months ago not syncing to Xbox One

    I don't have another device to test it on, but I've tried updating the firmware and syncing with a USB cable.

    What does "resetting the controller pairing" mean?

    Thank you IRB and Stuart. I'm being asked to rate the answer. I appreciate the quick and correct response. I however, am not truly satisfied with the answer. If the solitaire apps, running on the same two systems can sync, why can't the Wordament? Is this
    something that Microsoft is working on?

    IRB is correct with this. The Android/iOS versions do not sync with the PC version of Wordament.

    Are both devices on the same version/OS?

    I don't think the windows edition sync's with the iOS/Android version as they are different copies of the game.

    It seems to be by design, however that isn't to say they may change it in the future but at present they are different saves,
