    Sync with Cloud saving


    Hey , I have an issue with Gears 5 , Halo: MCC and Dirt 5 cloud sync.
    For last 5-7 days , everytime when I try to log in games - it shows me that something happened during cloud sync and it asks me to try later.
    When I actually can get in game , it doesn`t have my save files from XBox, but previously it was perfectly fine and worked as it supposed to.
    Anyone had this ?
    Any suggestions from support guys ?
    Since chatbot is super bad and does not help at all , I`m kinda frustrated.

    Hello Julian S! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

    If you have overwritten the console save and that has sync to the cloud, then then the other save is lost. If the save in the cloud is one you want back as not synced, you can try deleting local save and let it sync from the cloud.

    You have to be online to sync data with the cloud. Your local save is always saved to your console. If you don't sync to the internet when you haven't in a while, if you somehow lose your saved data you can not sync it back, but you rather get the last synced
    data sent to the cloud.

    The OP isn't trying to sync to the cloud as they have already done that. their question is whether the Cloud Save can become corrupted and so corrupts the console when the save syncs to it

    The Xbox One automatically saves games to the cloud while you are connected to the internet. Game progress will be saved in the cloud storage of the account currently logged in.
