Syberia releasing on Xbox 360!

Syberia, an underrated Original Xbox game, is seeing a revival on Xbox 360 this week!

I personally played Syberia years ago on the Original Xbox and the game is one of the best I have personally played. The game is a semi point and click adventure game, and has a really intriguing and unique storyline. Even though the game is rather old,
the graphics are well done and still look great to this day.

The storyline follows Kate Walker who seeks to track down Hans Voralburg, the owner of an automaton (sort-of like a robot) factory. Kate needs his signature for the firm company she works for, and on her adventure she uncovers much more than what she had
in mind!

The direct sequel, Syberia II, will also see a revival down the road, but at least Syberia II is backwards compatible with the Xbox 360 if you can't wait! I finally finished Syberia II last month on the Original Xbox and I look forward to Syberia III, which is
scheduled to come out on Xbox One sometime in late 2015.

Check the game out on Xbox 360 once it's available to download, there should be a trial since it's an arcade game. If you're looking for something different, this is definitely a game to try. The creative environments and captivating storytelling (fully
voiced) is really memorable.

The game can be rather challenging at times (has some difficult puzzles), but there's plenty of walkthroughs available online -- don't let that stop you! : )

I don't think Syberia is backwards compatible with Xbox 360, but the game is going to be released digitally on Xbox 360 this week! Syberia II should work on the Xbox 360 though.

I also played them from time to time on the Original Xbox -- I went through the games slowly because I didn't want the adventure to end >_<

Try youtube for walkthroughs but that is kind of defeating the purpose of the game.

 

@Teletubbie: which part are you on in the game? I finished Syberia II about a year ago on the Original Xbox and might remember something. I thought the arcade version had an easier mode with hints available.

 

You know I've been keeping my eye on this since Silvercube created this thread, but it just hasn't gone on sale. I know it's not that expensive, I just don't really want to pay full price for 360 games anymore, haha.

 

Maybe during the holidays Syberia and Syberia II might be on sale. Syberia III is slowly being developed so you still have some time to wait
