Switching Purchases on accounts...?

So my parents recently bought my sister and I an Xbox One S, and I’m loving it. It was the “bundle” in which the console came with Minecraft. We set up the console with my dad’s microsoft account. We had redeemable “coupons” in which we got 1000 minecoins
and a few skin packs, but it was set up on
his account that we don’t use. I set up my own account and am unable to use all of that. He doesn’t want us using his account and I can’t let all that go to waste; is there any way to transfer the purchases?

Sorry to hear you have run into this problem. Unfortunately it is not possible to transfer any content (currency, games or DLC) from one account to another so that would be stuck on his account.

You can try contacting support to see if there is anything they can do, but otherwise no. Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

Are you playing it with the same account that purchased it? Have you switched consoles since you first purchased it?

You have to sign into the acount that purchased the gane you are trying to play.You can switch the acount durring the load up of the game or if it has a switch account setting
