Switching party chat and game chat by remapping share button

It's not meant to be "party chat" but "chat". Whether ingame or party. But the buttons are not switching between game or party chat, but to control the balance between game sounds and voice chat.

Can you make sure that your tag didn't automatically switch to Game Chat when you enter the party? It seems to happen a lot. Check out your tag in the party and press A on it. If it is in Game Chat then switch it to Party Chat.

If that does not work then while the party is snapped press the Guide button to go home and then highlight the party press the Menu button and select Quit.

If that doesn't work then you'll need to power cycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. When you trying to hear the in game audio are you in a party chat? If so you will have to switch between party and game chat. You can do so by press the guide or home button on left panel go to multiplayer
when in party under there will be option to switch to game chat. Also what game are you trying to play when using game chat and unable to hear?

I have had the same issue and have worked out a quick fix...

While in party in the xbox menu click the view button (right of the left control stick) to switch to game chat then do that again, switch to party chat, then once more to game chat then you should be able to talk in game chat properly...
