Switching minecraft associated microsoft account

Hello, we recently migrated my minecraft mojang account to my dad's microsoft account, so I can log on to minecraft using his password. What we are trying to figure out is how to switch the minecraft account from being linked to his microsoft account (and thus using his info to log in) to my microsoft account (so I can use my info to log in). You may need to reach out to Mojang in this case in that way they can what options you have especially if you have Migrated it under an a different account instead of yours.

If you just want to associate your tag with another email address then everything will go with it. All items are associated with the gamertag, not the email address. Here's a link for you to follow on how to switch the email associated with the gamertag.

The Switch and Xbox have different types of friend's lists, so you won't be able to add his Nintendo account on Xbox and vice versa. If he has a Microsoft account for games like Minecraft, then he should have a gamertag associated with that and you can add that.
