Switching from normal Ultimate to getting the 1:1 3 year conversation rate.

The 1:1 conversion would work, but the $1 price is only for new subscribers. You would have to pay the regular price.

The 3 years will upgrade to Ultimate at a ratio of 1:1. So you'll have 3 years of Ultimate.

The other conversion rate is if you have Ultimate and are adding a prepaid Gold or regular Game Pass to that.

Since you're upgrading to Ultimate from Gold, you will upgrade at a ratio of 1:1. So the 3 years you have now will be converted to Ultimate.

The other conversion you hear about is when you're doing the opposite and you already have Ultimate and are adding Gold to that. That's when you get a shorter conversion rate.

The 1:1 conversion ratio is not limited to new subscribers. That's been a popular misconception. That conversion rate will happen anytime you have a standard Gold or Game Pass subscription and then purchase Ultimate. So you would get the full remainder of
your 2 years plus the 1 month at $14.99 (or 3 years if you do go that route).

When you add time and the other conversion rate applies, the pop-up warns you that it will be converted to X amount of time. It's not the same pop-up you're receiving. Yours is for the 1:1 conversion.

It would have been better if you bought at least 1-3 years of Gold during Black Friday or Cyber Monday and than purchased Ultimate for $1 to get it for a way better conversion rate before paying full Ultimate price so soon.
