Switching from Delta to Beta messed up my console

Xbox Series X is stuck in a mandatory system update loop after switching from Xbox Insider Delta to Beta.

Issue Summary:
My Xbox Series X was enrolled in the Xbox Insider Delta ring. I changed the console from Delta to Beta. Shortly after making the change, the console began failing a required system update and became stuck on the update screen.
Initially, I could select “Skip & Stay Offline” and access the dashboard. However, the Xbox Insider Hub app on the console would not open and displayed an error. I then performed a “Reset and keep my games & apps.”
The reset completed successfully, I was able to sign in and go through setup, but immediately after setup the console returned to the mandatory update screen. After the reset, “Skip & Stay Offline” was no longer available.
Troubleshooting already completed:
• Verified internet connection multiple times.
• Network test reports “It’s all good” and confirms the console is connected to the internet.
• Restarted and power-cycled the router.
• Fully power-cycled the Xbox.
• Used the Startup Troubleshooter.
• Performed “Reset and keep my games & apps.”
• Removed the console from Xbox Insider enrollment using the Xbox Insider Hub on PC.
• Confirmed my Insider Hub on PC shows no active preview enrollments.
• Waited for enrollment changes to sync and retried the update.
Current behavior:
The console reaches the mandatory update screen and displays error 0x8B050033 0x00000000 0x00000201.
Pressing “Try Again” immediately returns the same error. No download progress is shown. Network connectivity tests continue to pass successfully.
Additional information:
The console appears to still be running an Xbox Insider flight build (xb_flt_2607ge) even after being removed from Insider enrollment. The issue began immediately after switching from Delta to Beta.
Request:
Please verify the console’s Xbox Insider enrollment status and determine whether the console is stuck on an Insider flight build or assigned to an invalid update path. If necessary, please remove any remaining Insider flight assignments associated with this console so it can receive the correct system update.
