Switching Consoles while playing Starfield On the gaming cloud

Don't worry, you won't lose your game progress if you continue playing on Xbox Cloud Gaming on a different Xbox console. Your progress automatically syncs in the game when you play it from another console or device.

Like i said,it will only run on the current gen consoles,the Series X/S.

The older gen consoles don't have the hardware to run Starfield.

The Xbox One X is a last gen console.Skyrim works as it was made for the Xbox 360 & upgraded to run on Xbox One consoles.

If you want to play Starfield the4n you'll either need to buy a Xbox Series X or S or play it via the cloud if you can.

It's been known that Starfield will only play on current gen consoles for quite a while.

We understand that you are trying to play the Starfield Premium Edition in Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta to use the Old Mars DLC and Constellation DLC packs. Upon checking the list of available games in Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta, we can only see the base game to be available - Play Starfield | Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) on  Xbox.com.

Should you wish to include the DLC in the base game while playing in the cloud, please reach out to Team Xbox to have that possible. Please send feedback through the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform.

I figured it out 😃!!!

All you have to do is switch between 2 cloud games.

Let's say you want to play starfield and it does the infinite loading... Then pick another cloud game "goat simulator 3" and go back and forth until the Xbox icon at the bottom says login to cloud, then do it again if you are not on the game you want.

There is currently a service alert up for cloud gaming, hence why you cannot play Starfield on the cloud. Microsoft are aware of it, and are working on a fix.
