Switching bumper and trigger

does anyone know how to switch your bumper and triggers in configuration it wont allow me to because ethe triggers are not optional.

So What you are saying is you want to remove your parent control? if you are go to system-console system-system info-and type in Left Trigger | Right Trigger | X Button | Y Button | Left Bumper | Right Bumper | Up On Dpad | Y Button | Y Button | X Button

How do you hold you controller - Game Frustrations

Index fingers for all triggers and bumpers unless its a game like The Crew that has you driving for a long time in that case I switch between index and middle to hold down the accelerator.

To change or remap buttons on Xbox you need to go:

Settings - Ease of Access Controller - Button Mapping

Over there you can change to:

Swap Sticks

Invert Y axis on sticks

Swap Triggers

Turn on/off Vibration

I have done even more testing. It appears that switching the functions of the bumpers an triggers around is the issue causing the left trigger to become 0-51 when i set it to 0-1.

If you ask me to revert back to bumpers being bumper functions and triggers being trigger functions, i propose that since i have previously had a configuration where the functions of the bumpers and triggers are switched, and i could have the trigger deadzones
set to 0-1, that you should send it to the technical team to have it fixed. It is not fair that i have gotten used to a configuration and for it to be messed with when i only recently have gotten used to the switching of the bumpers and triggers. Thanks.

I have done more testing, and it seems the issue is with the triggers. I prefer immediate response, so i have the triggers deadzones both set at 0-1, when i do this and try to assign a spot, the left trigger becomes 0-51, right trigger stays 0-1. If i change
the left trigger to be higher than 0-1, when assigned to a spot, the new config compensates. For example, if i make both triggers 0-5, when assigned, the left trigger becomes 0-55. So when assigned, there must be a glitch where the left trigger immediately
adds 50 for some reason, must be a glitch in the coding or something. If it helps, i also switch the functions of my bumpers and my triggers around, so i can tap fire using the bumpers, and i set the triggers to 0-1 so that when i use those functions i'm not
required to press the triggers in as much.

I have made a configuration like the one i have said before (triggers and bumpers switched, triggers both at 0-1, 2 paddle functions as well), i went to edit one today when it started having the issues i stated above. I deleted all of my configurations to
see if it was an issue with the controller having access to too many configurations, but nothing changed. Thanks.
