    Switch to Xbox Ultimate for same price


    I purchased the $1 Xbox Game Pass for new players, but now I want to switch to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate because it's also $1

    Is there any way I can switch to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are $1 for the first month for new users, but I already bought the regular Xbox Game Pass. I don't understand why someone would choose the standard Xbox Game Pass over Xbox Game Pass Ultimate if they're both $1 because, after the first month, you can switch back to the regular Game Pass. Is there any way to undo this and still buy Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1?

    Just a friendly reminder though that there is no option for us users to undo subscribing to a subscription. Which means that you can try to cancel the subscription but getting the same promotion is not guaranteed as it is usually for first time users only.

    Technically you're not. Gold and Game Pass are converted into Ultimate based on price, not based on the time. The price for 4 months of Ultimate is the same price as 12 months of gold. If you want to use the full 12 months of just Gold, you would need
    to cancel Ultimate or wait for your Ultimate subscription to expire and then add the 12 months.

    It should have converted as 4 months of Ultimate, not just 3 months. The conversion is based off the price, not the length of time. The price of a 12 month Gold subscription is the same price as 4 months of Ultimate. So you don't receive a credit.

    Well no as games are usually platform specific that's the price you pay for switching platforms regardless of platform

    You can get gamepass ultimate or oc gamepass for some cod titles
