Sweepstakes qualification issue/question

I am a legal resident of the contiguous US, but am on military orders in a territory thereof and I entered the sweepstakes with my current zip code not knowing that the verbiage specified “fifty United States,” so I was wondering if my mistake would cause me to disqualify or if there was a way Microsoft/Xbox could edit it to my zip code of legal residence / recognize the residence I had saved in my account prior to being on this territory. It is considered to be a part of the US in tax, insurance, and legal matters and is therefore of the US excepting the fact that it is not of the “fifty United States.” Any help appreciated, I never thought I needed to read the fine print especially since it’s open to the UK, Germany, and Canada, but I would really like my shot at participation.

Well first if you are on an us military base then no

Canada uk and Germany offers are for those residents.only

And you could have to use a us military address

So if you live off base it won't work

You would have to contact direct support to verify this information, but my guess is that if they requested a Zip code during the registration, that's the one that will be taken into consideration for the contest.

Probably after registration you won't be able to change that Information, but that again will need confirmation from support

original thread, winners for that sweepstakes will be announced on March 7.
