Swapping LB to LT (same with R) on wired xbox controller

I've have the same situation (at least with my IPod docs and cpu sound system not my xbox) that the culprit was ether a loose connection or frayed wire. have you checked your connections or even tried a different wire (try seeing if it is even the port on
the TV its self by swapping your xbox and ps3 if they are both the same <DVMI-DVMI> <RCA-RCA> <Component-Component>)

Appreciate if you can run a traceroute on your Xbox 360.

As soon as your console get disconnected from Xbox Live, go to Xbox Network settings and select your connection type (wired) and press the following combo on your controller:

LT RT RT LT RB LB

Select tracert.xbox.com

Post up the result from this traceroute.

Same issue here. I have one hand, that's why I bought the controller. According to the person I spoke with last night, they're working on fixing the issue.

In the meantime, I tried sort of a weird workaround that works for me: Assigned the LB to the RT function, and the LT to the RB function. So basically it's like swapping the left and right triggers/bumpers, but the bumper and trigger functions are swapped
as well. It works well enough for now, but this obviously needs to get fixed.

Actually i went onto the xbox insider subreddit and found a solution.

Basically after it doesnt the test you press LB+LT+RB+LT at the same time to skip the test. You may have to try it a few times if it doesnt seem to work.

Settings -> System -> System Info, now type each one of these codes then a prompt will come up asking to rest the xbox to default, if none of them work, you'll need to call Xbox Support at 1800-4MY-Xbox.:
