    Swap over from Xbox Live to Xbox Ultimate, not functioning.


    My subscription got upgraded automatically, and since then i can't download games. The message says that i cancelled my " gold subscription " in December. While the other message says that i now have the "Ultimate Subscription," that combines them both.
    Yet, there seems to be a problem and i need some help.

    Same here, swapped it back straight away which is really frustrating as the function to swap between gaming, TV, music ect was one of the main reasons for choosing Xbox over PS4 and was one of Micorsofts big selling points, you would have thought they would

    This is a live service game, and therefore requires access to Xbox live. If you don’t have gold or game pass ultimate, the game will not function. As it is not free to play, it requires you to have a subscription

    There's a conversion rate when you swap from XBL Gold or Game Pass to Game Pass Ultimate, there used to be a limited time deal where it would convert it at a 1:1 ratio when Game Pass Ultimate first launched but I don't think that applies anymore. Before
    you confirm the conversion to Game Pass Ultimate, it usually tells you how many months your current Xbox Live Gold subscription will convert to.

    If you already have Game Pass Ultimate and want to use an Xbox Live Gold code then I think 1 month of Gold or Game Pass gives you 20 days of Game Pass Ultimate.

    There's an FAQ at the following link, if you click on the question that says "After I join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, can I still redeem Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass codes?" there will be a full conversion table: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/gold/upgrade

    Sorry but as there is no Live functionality for Xbox original games I do not believe there is a way to move game saves over.
