    I just checked my email and I can confirm that it's actually Microsoft.Your credit card number must be wrong or something. If you're using one to pay for gold membership, I suggest checking that out.

    Here is some advice I provide to all my friends who are suspicious of such emails: When in doubt, contact the source directly. Go to the source that you know is valid and simply ask them about it directly. Never respond directly to suspicious emails when
    in doubt. If it is a serious issue the source will know and they will fix the issue with you when you contact them directly.

    If there are no recently refunded items in your order history ( https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ ), it's highly likely that the email you received was sent in error, so don't worry.

    I have observed that a few players have recently received similar refund emails, even if they did not request a refund. I believe this may be related to ongoing issues with some refund requests, as many users are not receiving confirmation emails for their refund requests, leading to delays in the refund process. Therefore, some players may have received these emails mistakenly, as in this case.
